Payment Preferences (PDF)
The study is a
definitive guide to how
consumers pay in different
venues, why, and how their
payment habits are likely to
evolve going forward across five
important payment venues:
Internet payments, bill
payments, cash, debit cards and
prepaid cards. The study also
found that each month consumers
make 58 individual payment
choices, whether they are making
a purchase in a store, over the
Internet, or paying a bill -
and, increasingly, the payment
method they choose is an
electronic one.
